These terms are the agreement between you and NutriLog AI ("the app", "we", "us") for use of the mobile application and the service behind it. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure — anyone who can sign in to it can see and change your data in the app.
NutriLog AI records what you log — meals, weight, water, workouts, steps, fasts — and computes targets, trends and insights from it. Some features use Google Gemini to generate a suggestion or estimate from what you send; those features are optional and can be turned off in Privacy → AI Data Sharing, and the rest of the app keeps working without them.
Nutrition values come from public and third-party food data and from AI estimates. They are approximations. A barcode, a photo estimate or a database entry can be wrong, and portion sizes in particular are guesses unless you weigh your food.
What you log stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your entries, compute your targets, and — when you use an AI feature with AI Data Sharing on — send the relevant part of it to Google Gemini to produce the answer you asked for.
How data is collected, shared and retained is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Profile → Privacy → Delete Account & Data. Deletion is permanent.

NutriLog AI offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" tier. Pro is sold exclusively through Google Play Billing — we never see or handle your card details. Price, renewal period and any trial are shown in the app before you buy and are charged to your Google Play account.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel yours in the Play Store (Subscriptions); cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves access running to the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Google under Play's refund policy.
We may make Pro features temporarily available to everyone — for example during a public test — or change what is included in each tier. If a change materially reduces what you already paid for, you may cancel and seek a refund through Google Play.
The service is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. We will use reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes in the app.
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from within it. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we are required to act on by law, or that is being used to attack or abuse the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or that any figure it shows is accurate.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any health outcome arising from decisions you make using the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be signalled in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
